My neighbors have a plant in front of their house that looks kind of like a banana tree, but it has flowers on it that look like bird-of-paradise.

Things are starting to sprout and grow here. I think spring is starting. Even my untended, overgrown flowerbed has things blooming in it. Calla lilies! They’re beautiful, but they reproduce like crazy. It makes them seem like weeds to me.
That giant flower – it’s a little scary! Keep us posted on it’s growth (…. and let us know that you are safe from it….)

I’m a wee bit jealous of your calla lillies. They are really hard to grow here. We are a month away from spring but your daffodils are up and some 🙂 e have buds on them! Enjoy all of your gardening, I think of you often when I look around my yard and see all of the plants you shared with me!
