I ate something healthy last night! Yay! Good job, Brad! I had a salad. It had a special ingredient, too – nasturtium flowers from my garden.:
Nasturtiums taste kind of like radishes, so they go great with salads.

What?? I knew flowers could be edible, but I thought they all tasted ‘floral’. That’s so interesting! That makes for a very lovely salad, too.
I grow nasturtiums in my garden too. The flowers are great in salads and they are good companion plants for cucumbers. They help keep the bugs away and they are pretty too!
I’m proud of you for eating healthy.
Btw- my yard is full of daffodils from your Baltimore garden and the red stick dogwood is huge! I’ve taken multiple cuttings from it and shared them with several people.
Debbie, I’m so glad those daffodils are still going! I miss bulbs here. I tried some refrigerated tulips, but they don’t look very good.
