Yesterday I had a scheduling “Doomsday”. A bunch of unrelated things happened on the same day: Grades were due, chapel happened, I had lunch duty, and the “Teen Development” unit began in Religion class. I knew it was coming, so I made a list. I stuck it to my desk on Monday morning. One by one, things got crossed off the list. Except cleaning the fish tank. Poor fish.
“Beautiful One” is a song my partner teacher, Martha, told me about. She said it might be good for chapel.
You can’t fool us – the blue post-its are for boosting your self esteem, aren’t they? I bet yesterday’s said, ‘Smart One’, and tomorrow’s is ‘Capable One’. Aw, Brad, there’s no need to hide your fragile ego behind some fake person named Martha.

BTW: Do you always sign your “to do” lists? Or could it have been one of the others that live inside you? Maybe the one who wrote Beautiful One … or the one that prints pornography to the ms office printer. Wait a minute … are Lloyd & Lauren real?
What is this grading of which you speak? And, might it raise one’s heart rate?
