Auction Winner

Because she worked there, my friend Jan brought my winnings over from the Martini Lutheran Preschool auction. I had said I would be winning a lot of children’s art. I did. I didn’t win the books I bid on, and I decided not to bid on the acupuncture session, so it was just a stack of “Eric Carle style art” for me. Maybe I shouldn’t say “just”. These are all mounted to pretty hefty pieces of foam board. I have no idea what I’ll do with them.

Top Row Titles: A Race Car, A Cat, A Rooster, A Bed on a Mountain
Bottom Row Titles: A Bunny, Hello Kitty, A Robin, My House
Masterpieces, all.

And I did win my favorite piece: My Sister
Piece de resistance.

Perhaps you could bring a few to Nebraska to help a certain teacher inspire her students to greatness?

Hey, buying a picture named “The Bunny” doesn’t count as retribution to the rabbit world … but making a tax deductible contribution to the Humane Society of your choice would.

(in person does that picture look like a bunny, ’cause on my computer it looks a heck of a lot like Dory… in which case you could save it for the birthday basket say for sometime around Jan. 30th)

Hmmm….”Martini” Lutheran eh? We’re still just beer and brats, (pronounced broughts) budget.

Hee hee! Martini Lutheran – now there’s a school where I’d be at home!

Dang it! That was me, not Lloyd.
