Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Getting Ready to Go

I’ll be in Nebraksa for quite a while this time. Because of my long absence from Maryland, I have a few things I need to do. I’ve made a list. The HGT invites (pronounced: IN-vites) are notes I’ve left in the mailboxes of people who are potential participants in the Hamilton Hills Home and Garden Tour. They took most of yesterday morning to prepare and a chunk of afternoon to deliver. (Thanks for the help, Peggy!)

There are a few things left, but they don’t take too much time individually, so I’ll finish some this morning and some tomorrow morning.

I saved some of the fun garden things for last.

And I can’t do a haircut without a picture of my head, so here it is – my latest haircut:

So clean and even.

So, how come ‘post pictures of my kitchen’ didn’t make the list? Are you saving that for tomorrow’s post? Please?

Lauren, I was trying to appease your wishes yesterday.
I offered to take the pictures while Brad did the Price-Is-Right-model thing around his kitchen, but he wouldn’t go for it. He said it was too messy (shhh – don’t tell him, but he was right!)

My thanks, Michele. Maybe he can draw a picture when he gets here. I’m sure that will be just like being there! Ha!

  2. Beth

You forgot to include on your list, “get Dunkin’ Donuts for Beth, Bavarian Cream and Chocolate Frosted”.

    Here’s my summer to-do list:
    1. Find something to do
    2. Find something to do
    3. Find something to do

(I’m glad you found a new barber who does a wonderful job! I hope you tip him well. If Beth is up to it, how about we see a post of her hair cutting skills?)

Have a fantastic time, you brat!

Might I suggest a fine thing for you to do this summer would be to, “redesign the Lincoln Lutheran website”? I’ve done some of the initial work for you. Here’s the current site and here’s a start for your new site. Let me know when you’re done.

    (don’t forget Nite-Nite & socks.)
