Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

I’m Alive!

I made it to Nebraska. My trip was quite pleasant.

I have become accustomed to staring at people because in big cities they don’t look back at you. But yesterday, lots of people were looking back. I would wait for them to avert their eyes so I could keep looking at them, but they didn’t, so we would establish eye contact. Then I would smile and they would smile. In the end, it was nice, because it was like everybody was my friend.

The plane rides were very nice. The landing and take-off in Milwaukee were really swervy, and that made me a little queasy, but Midwest Airlines amenities more than made up for that. The tiny plane from Baltimore to Milwaukee had regular plane seats, but the big plane from Milwaukee to Omaha had first-class-looking seats in the entire plane! The rumors are true! Midwest does have larger seats!
This is a picture of row 16:

e-NOR-mous seats!

What I hadn’t heard rumors about was the fact that Midwest Airlines serves warm chocolate chip cookies on every flight. How could I not have known this?

Mmm... chocolate chip cookie...

Do they also serve warm urine samples?

    • Michele

Ask Beth about warm urine! 🙂 Ha!

Hope you enjoy some amber beverages while urinetown with your family, Brad.

        BTW-
On my United flights, we received only a beverage…not even a little bag of pretzels! RIP OFF!

        • Peggy

Ha! I was wondering if maybe the airline requested a urine sample from you … new Midwest security???

Glad you landed in one piece … and made so many new friends your first day!!

          Kim! Welcome back!

          “urinetown”… hehe…

That was apple juice, thank you very much. It’s my preferred drink while flying. I’m always worried about being airsick, and I figure apple juice on it’s way back out will burn less than some carbonated beverage.

You always have all the bases covered, never thought about “burning less” on the way out. Good thinking.

I guess this town isn’t big enough for the two of us…good thing you left, I didn’t have to get my hands dirty!

      Are you kissing him long-distance?

What really I want to know is, did he know that the headrest folded around his head for napping?

    Best. Airline. Ever.

We’ve only flown with them once (they had the cheapest flight), but I’ll have to agree.
