I ran out of flax seed meal a couple days ago. Having already skipped two mornings, I went out last night to get some more. This time I got two bags, so it should last longer.
It just so happens that the treehugger grocery store where I get the flax seed meal is right next to my favorite sushi place: Sushi Hana! Yay! But it was closed. Dang! There was another Asian restaurant within walking distance! Yay! But they didn’t have the hot dish I wanted. Dang! But they did have sushi. Yay!
Whew! What a rollercoaster of an evening.
My favorite sushi is plain ol’ salmon. In fact, this is the only way I like salmon. Once it’s cooked I almost can’t eat it at all. But raw salmon is sweet and tender.
I find your lack of Quarter for Scale… disturbing.
The chopsticks are standard size.
in China
Who are you? I could eat that if you popped it under the broiler for a minute – “Cook it a little for me, please.” That’s step four in ‘How to get kicked out of the sushi bar’.
Mmmmm … that picture makes my mouth water! Oh wait a minute, that’s bile I’m gagging on. Never mind.
(What’s that
crapdelicacy in the left hand corner of your tray?)hehehehehe!!!!
The green stuff is wasabi (Japanese horseradish). I don’t care for that much at all.
The pink stuff is pickled ginger. It’s sweet and tasty, but really strong. I only ever eat small bits of that.
That truly disgusts me. Truly. Weirdo.
Brad made us eat some and it really wasn’t bad at all. Except that we got some bad fish and had a never ending stream of mucus all night. But apart from that it was a blast.
Please tell me the mucus stream was from your nose.
Hey don’t knock my favorite fish – COOKED salmon!
Is that pickled ginger stuff the one that clears your sinuses? … the one you made me try once?
Did you manage to keep things off your tie this time?
