Open House

Yesterday was our first Open House of the year at school. It went well. Lots of people came through.

By this time of year, the eighth grade has already studied Jesus’ “Kingdom Parables”. I give an assignment each year where the kids do a stained glass window design that teaches one of the parables. It makes a pretty wall just in time for Open House. This year I was a little behind, so I really had to scramble to get them on the wall. I went on Saturday. I was there for three hours. Criminy! But it shore looks purty.

Now how am I going to make up for all that XBox time I lost on Saturday?

A sower, a lamp, a growing seed, a mustard seed.

Those are cool! I like how you got your horizontal and vertical papers to fit together. I’ve got some blank walls in my classroom – could you come take care of those?

Oooo … I got a shiver all the way down my spine! The incredible coloring skills … the array of brilliant colors … the one that looks like a nice, hot scrumptious pizza with melted cheese & mouth watering pepperoni …

I love that you do this for your open house. What cool artistic fabulousness!
