I went to Marshall’s department store yesterday evening. I’ve been looking for a winter coat. I want to get a long one. The trouble is, the long coats I’m finding all look the same to me. They’re all just tubes of cloth. I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for, and I may never find it, but I now know that it’s not at Marshall’s.
While I was there, I browsed through the housewares department. I got all the way to the end without picking anything up. But the end is where the food is. And they had a huge display of coffee. And in that display, they had Godiva Vanilla Hazelnut coffee. Ehhxcellent! I had gotten some of this on sale back in September. It was very tasty. When I went back to the Godiva store to get a new bag, they only had Vanilla Creme. It’s not quite the same, and not quite as tasty.
By definition, these bags of coffee from Marshall’s are old. That’s what Marshall’s does: sells old, discontinued, or factory rejected items. But I didn’t care. I got two. I would have gotten more, but it seemed a little weird. But now I’m thinking I should have gotten all they had. Is this a discontinued flavor? Will I never be able to taste its coffeelicious sweetness again?
Buy it! Buy it all!!!! Mmmmuuuhhhhaaaahhhhhh!!

She’s right, the Godiva vanilla hazelnut coffee on Amazon is $1 per ounce. And they don’t even have that kind on the Godiva Web site . Just pop it in the freezer–that should help it stay good for you.
For a coat, have you tried H&M? It’s a very trendy, but very reasonable place, and I noticed on the Web site that they have places in Baltimore. I noticed that they have a lot of coats of varying length & fabric.
Alternatively, you could try Hugo Boss. I guarantee you’ll get something interesting there. And I believe the Hugo brand would be perfect for you!
(Lauren, … here’s a perfect Christmas gift idea for you … make another slanket … I’m sure with just some minor tailoring it would make a great long coat.)
And that coffee is GREAT when you need to stay awake past 3:30pm!
