Some Errands

Yesterday I went out to do some errands because after today, I’ll be staying in for a few days and bonding with Max.

I started by taking the cash out of my “cat box” and taking it to the bank. I’ve been saving for Max since Ned died. When the bank guy counted it, he came up with twenty more dollars than me. Oops!

Only $55 short of my goal.

Next, I went to get a haircut. It was nice to have Ken do it again. He cuts and cuts, then cuts again. His buzz cuts are flawless.

Ken never leaves corners.

Lastly, I went to get Max supplies. Carole from Destyny Sphynx recommended a new kind of litter box to me. It’s a tub with a hole in the top. She says it’s the cleanest box she’s used. I had to get one. I also had to get food. After fretting for a while about which brand, I chose Nutro Natural Choice. I also got several other sundry items.

I hope Max likes catnip. Ned didn't.

I LOVE Max’s new bed – that’s awesome! Can I come try it out? Under the lizard light?

What time do you pick him up today?

  2. Lloyd says:

Ken even fills the dents in nicely. Not every barber/surgeon can/will do/that.

  3. Beth says:

Have you set up your soccer field? Or will you just close the kitchen door, dump a gallon of bouncy balls in there and call it good?

  4. Lauren says:

I went to the Nutro site. (Heh – when I type it it looks like ‘Nut’-ro.) Anyway, they have a MaxCat line! It’s like destiny! sphynx!

  5. Peggy says:

Yay for Max coming home! That bed is awesome! Can you take a picture of him in it & post it today? Post a bunch of pictures … we can’t wait to see how he’s grown!!

    Happy Bonding! 🙂

  6. Deanne says:

    Oh, yes! Pictures, please!!

My big question is still about grinding up that fresh meat. Are you going to do that?

  7. Kim says:

My dad sells those “Greenies”. He says it is like crack for cats…hope Max likes them.

Hurry up and get some pictures posted! Welcome home, Max!

That litter box concerns me. Won’t little Max fall on his noggin’ when he tries to get into it? And what if he’s litter-box-etiquette-challenged and can’t cover his business? The next time he goes in, he’ll fall head first into a pile of poo.

  9. Deanne says:

    pictures, pictures!

  10. Beth says:

Post pictures, would you? It’s 8am there, and NOTHING. Waiting…

  11. Peggy says:

Come on … wake up you sleepy heads.!!!!
