Bittersweet

The power came on again yesterday around 5pm or so. I immediately turned on all kinds of lights and sat at the computer and watched TV. It was awesome. Unfortunately, my DVR was scrambled, so I couldn’t watch any recorded shows. But to be basking in the cool glow of the TV again… ahhhh!

After getting a BLT from Zorbas, I was going to sit down and watch my Sunday evening cartoons. But what was this? They weren’t on. Something had bumped them. Something called the World Series? Apparently, it’s some sort of classic fall game played at a place called Tampa Bay in Philadelphia. Why is this more important than cartoons? And why must four games be played? If they only played one, they would have been done by now. I don’t get it.

I watched 'My Fake Baby' for a while. It gave me the jibblies.

forget about this philadelphia thing – did you learn any dance moves from chris brown?

Sorry about your cartoons. I can’t stand basketball either.

Ironically, Brad’s response to baseball is pretty doggone close to my hubby’s response to the NBA season, at least as it impacts me when the Pistons are doing well. He always says that season is too long…but in his case, probably any more than one game/season would be “too long”.

    Dnag Communists.

I hate to break it to you, Brad, but there could be as many as 3 more games played. But by next Sunday, you’ll have your precious cartoons back.

(You should have watched the game, it was a good one!)

The next time you watch ‘My Fake Baby’, try snacking on these:
