Water Fun

Max jumps into the tub a lot. He used to go in automatically after I showered. I think he liked the humid warmness. But he also jumps in even when there is no shower water there. Maybe he just likes the high walls. Maybe he likes the self-cleaning aspect of a bathtub. Whatever the case, I thought it would be fun to give him a little water and see what he did with it. He was funny.

Without the water turned on:
He leaves footprints when it's wet.

Awwwww…. he’s trying to bite it. I need a cat.

Could you train him to like showers, or would that be deadly for him in the winter?

Aww Max, thanks for bringing a smile to my face.

I had to put my dog down last night, so I have a broken heart.

*gasp* Carly or Forrest? I’m so sad for you…

Oh, Peggy. I’m so sorry. Sympathy tears in Nebraska…

      Ugh! I’m sorry.

Some day, try tossing a ping pong ball into the tub with Max – another friend of mine apparently did that with four kittens and a carton of ping pong balls and said her family couldn’t stop wheezing from laughing so hard at the organized chaos that ensued.

Be glad Max doesn’t do what Riley seems to enjoy (the twit): he takes a running leap at the light-weight bone-shaped dog feed-and-water station in the kitchen when there is only water in the one bowl and a big hole were the other dish should be (‘cuz someone’s doing dishes). He makes the water splash down into the big hole, then goes down into the bone itself to play in the shallows…then I get to clean up the water down there when he comes out so it doesn’t get moldy once the other dish is attached up top, the rat! He’s a pretty clever guy, I’ll give him that – we’re literally duct taping kitchen cabinets shut now to keep him out while we’re at work. But he is, how you say, “high maintenance”. I’ve never gotten the impression dear Max is this much work.
