I hate the fall time change. It hastens the Early Dark. This year has been particularly rough. I’ve been grouchy and have had a hard time focusing. Monday night I decided to do something about it: I went to bed at 7:30. It… was… AWESOME! I woke up twice during the night thinking it must be time to get up, and it wasn’t!
But the Early Dark affects my appetite too. I have been craving carbs like crazy! Sunday night I had crackers for dinner. During lunch I’ve been eating anything I can find that is high in sugar and flour content. Yesterday, besides my regular Carnation Instant Breakfast, I had a roll that Michele gave me and Pop Tarts. Do you know how many calories two Pop Tarts have? Four hundred twenty! I figure I must’ve had upwards of 900 calories for lunch. Sheesh!
Hmmmmm……going to bed early, packing calories? Seems like someone’s preparing for hibernation, eh?
