A Whirly Christmas

We celebrated Christmas last night. I joined Brent and Beth and their families at my parents house for huge piles of munchies and huge piles of presents. It was a whole mess of fun and generated a whole mess of trash. Great fun was had by all.

I was particularly anxious to see Daniel open his present. There are three kinds of remote control helicopters that Brookstone sells, and my parents had gotten him the coolest one. But then as I opened one of my presents, there it was: my own remote control helicopter! Woo hoo! I was so excited! After Daniel and I had charged our helicopters, everybody went to the Lutheran school gym in town and we did a flight test. The helicopters are SUPER COOL! Thanks, Mom and Dad! You rock!

The top hat is from Lloyd and Lauren. It looks great. I am SO getting a real top hat.

You know how Matt Smith can actually get away with wearing a fez, which is a rare feat as, on most people, they look incredibly naff.
Same with top hats and yet you totally rock yours.
    Nice.
Must have been the season for helicopters as my nephews also were given them and we played king kong. That is as much fun as it sounds.

OK, so I must be psychic or something, because when I saw the title of the 12/25 posting I thought to myslef, “He got a radio controlled thingy for Christmas?!” Then I read what RC was intended to mean and was slightly disappointed – UNTIL TODAY! This does sound wonderful. Will you be bringing yours back to our own school gym to fly when the time comes? I can’t imagine there is any room in your house, but in nicer weather the bank parking lot might make a good airfield. Hmmm…very clever, Mom & Dad Royuk!

(By the way, “myslef” was an intentionaly typo…yea….I meant to reverse those letters…for no apparent reason…just practicing for when I need to type my next test at school – don’t know what the kiddies would do if there weren’t at least one for them to find.)

(…and then there’s “intentionaly”, but this could go on forever, couldn’t it? Sorry……..)

I just have to say that having a sister-in-law that has access to a gymnasium for the inaugural flights was pretty cool, too.

I’ll have to find a copy of the Magnum P.I. theme for you to play when you next fly it. That’s what I hear when I see helicopters.

Excellent!! ‘Tis the year of the helicopter! (Joe crashed Matt’s into the shed, new roter, $3.00….so all is well)

And LOVE the top hat!!!!! And may I also say that there’s nothing cuter than a cute little boy in his pajamas & bare feet!
