Mint

A while back, I discovered that the local Christian bookstore carried the most delicious mints. They were vanilla flavored, with no taste of mint at all. They tasted like white Tic Tacs do when you first put them in your mouth. They were delicious. I don’t go to the Christian bookstore that often, but when I do, I get a container of these delicious fish-shaped mints.

But they’ve changed them. At first I thought it must be some trick of my taste buds. I tried the mints three separate times. But sadly, it’s confirmed: they taste like mint now. The sweet vanilla deliciousness is ruined. Blech.

The new one is at the bottom. Fish mints? Eeeww.

…but at least they don’t taste like….fish! Right?? I mean, icky!!!!

[There must be some sort of axiom about how God’s Word (“Scripture”) is more satisfying than food from the sea (“Fish”)….but I’ve not finished my first coffee today yet, so don’t ask me exactly what that might be.]

Do the boxes have the same Bible verse inside, or are they all different like fortune cookies?

I’m sorry for your mint loss.

And yet another product changed for the worst. 🙁

You should remind that bookstore that good things never need to change…

…I was going for some take on Malachi 3:6, but it didn’t work.

How could vanilla NOT be smooth?
