Home and Garden Show

I went to the Maryland Home and Garden Show yesterday. Yay! I spent a ton of money and have nothing to show for it. Yay!

I could have gone in the exhibitors entrance using the name of a friend, but I was too chicken, so I paid. Cha-ching! I got an over-priced bratwurst. It was delicious. Cha-ching! There was a booth that sold those cinnamon-sugar pecans. I bought a small package for a huge price. Cha-ching!

It was all worth it. The garden displays were beautiful. The booths were fun. It felt like spring.

The most interesting things I saw:

Condiment dispensers that required you to “milk” them.
Not at all awkward.

A door at the Maryland State Fairgrounds pavilion that had this permanent label painted on it.
What could it mean?

That milk machine alone is worth paying to see! That might just be the most bizarre thing in the world. I cannot unsee it.

GAH! That was the most disturbing image of relish dispensing I will ever see. Blech.

Also. Yesterday I went out and raked some leaves adn trimmed back the clematis and cleaned out the south flower bed…

And this morning we woke to an inch of snow on the ground and another 4-6 inches predicted over the next two days.

I love winter, but have to admit I’m a little done with the snowing around here.

I bet that the condiment dispenser was on loan from the Dairy Pavilion.

That is udderly freaky!! (another reason why I prefer single packets)
    Did you use it?

I milked a real cow once. But never a condiment dispenser.
