Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

For a Limited Time Only

The weather has been a little warmer during the day lately. It’s still cold at night, but the daytime is pretty nice. The warmth has triggered the camellia flowers in my garden. But the nighttime cold temperatures are burning the flowers.

I decided that I should get a picture of the flowers before they all turned to mush. What’s nice about the cold is that it makes the leaves very dark. They make a beautiful contrast with the pink flowers.

Thanks for the flowers, camellia. I appreciate the effort.

It's light out when I get home!

Oh, funniest yet saddest last line ever!

We had warnings and watches for a huge winter storm that was supposed to hit yesterday and today, but it became just a little wintry drizzle. Spring and winter really need to get their acts together.

Winter can just go away, as far as I’m concerned.

I like the dark leaves as well. It makes me think that the alien terra-forming* of earth has already started.

*I realize that this is the wrong term.
