Confirmation

Yesterday was Confirmation Sunday at my church. I was more excited than a usual confirmation because I was more involved: I have been teaching these kids for the past couple months.

It was a very nice service. Our pastor was on an off-week for his chemotherapy, so he felt well enough to lead the service. I got to help with the confirmation liturgy. For his sermon, the pastor walked the confirmands around the church talking about important elements/people. They started at the baptismal font, walked over to their parents, etc. It was cool.

After the service, the parents wanted to take pictures. And they asked me to be in them. πŸ™‚

I missed the memo to wear white.

Your pastor looks remarkably well – I hope he is, and I’m glad he got to be there for the service.

Awww, that’s a really nice picture! I’m glad you were able to be a part of the process!

And I agree, your Pastor looks good….thinner, but good!

    God’s blessings to the confirmands!!
