I have a new Xbox game. It’s called “Fable 3”. Apparently, I missed Fable One and Two. It’s a quest type of game. Mostly swords and sorcery, but some firearms too. As you play the game, interact with people, and follow the quests, you always have two choices: the nice choice, and the mean choice. I always choose the nice choice. I have trouble doing anything mean, even in the imaginary world of a computer game.
I have only just started, so I have hours and hours of play ahead. Yay, for inexpensive, mindless fun!
I think the thing we all like most about you is that you have trouble doing anything mean, even in a computer game.
What is the object of your quest?
My “brother” has stolen the throne from me and is a cruel leader. I must lead a revolution against him to win back the kingdom. While playing the game, if I choose the mean choices, I become a tyrant. If I choose the good choices, I become a nice king.
Yea, you’re stuffed with more niceness than the average person! Like a Double Stuff Oreo!
Can you give us an example of 2 of your choices? I’m having a hard time imagining what kind of nice vs. mean choices there could be.
When you meet random people on the street, you can “shake hands” or “belch”. During one of my quests to help a farmer gather chickens, I was given the choice to “save” or “kill” them.
I hope there are no rabbits in the game. Goodbye nice king…hello tyrant!
I sense a soul in search of answers.
