Thursday evening the temperatures started dropping. By yesterday morning, it was in the low sixties. I actually wore a jacket to school! It stayed cool during the day, and when evening came, it got even cooler. It was the perfect night for a fire in the firepit.
I cooked hot dogs for dinner. And even though some would call them an abomination, I got the kind of hot dogs that have cheese inside them, because I really like that kind. And they were delicious!
Ahhhhhh……….. That is the perfect picture. I am, however, imagining that it is a plain hot dog and not a cheese-filled abomination.
Cool weather is absolutely the best. I was talking with a co-worker about favorite seasons. She likes spring, I like fall. I’m so glad that I’m right and she’s wrong.
You are right indeed Lauren! 🙂 Fall is the best season ever – turtlenecks and sweaters, leaves changing colors, mums booming, and pumpkin muffins/pancakes/bread/donuts …
and jumping in leaf piles! Don’t forget jumping in leaf piles! Once I made a huge one at the bottom of my slide and slid into it. It was epic!
You are a taunter. You. Taunter.
(And hot dogs come with cheese inside? That just ain’t natural.)
