Soft and Scarfy

Yesterday I went to the mall for some window shopping. I love people-watching. There’s a little bit of a danger that in all my looking around, I’ll run into someone while I’m walking through the crowds, but that didn’t happen yesterday.

I was very excited to visit the Eddie Bauer store. They are currently selling down-filled coats that are made of the softest, slickeryiest substance I think I have ever touched. I almost would pay the $90 for the coat just so I could rub my face in it whenever I want. But I don’t really like how the coat looks, so I don’t think I would actually want to wear it. But it felt so nice…

I can hardly even describe it.

My other exciting event was a visit to H&M. It’s where I got my scarf last year. I thought maybe I would look for another new scarf and stick with my old coats and jackets. It’s so much cheaper that way. I found one, and after waiting in a super-long line, I bought it. Then on my way out of the store, I saw a scarf I liked better. D’oh! I waited in the super-long line again and returned the first scarf and got the second one. Twelve dollars, and I’m set for the winter! Woo hoo! (except I still have to get a top hat…)

Almost exactly like the old one, but black.

I seem to remember you trying on a coat like that this summer and going into an altered, cocoon-like state. It’s probably for the best that you didn’t buy one – who knows what you’d become?

You’re right – I did see this coat at Eddie Bauer in Lincoln. I stopped at Eddie Bauer here to specifically look for it, because I was at the outlet mall. It’s cheaper, but $90 is still too much for a coat I wouldn’t actually wear.

…but the idea of cocooning for the winter doesn’t sound all bad to me. What if I woke up with giant butterfly wings? Cool!

Guess what! I’m getting better about remembering to post on my blog!

I am wearing a very fuzzy shirt right now! But it’s a lot fuzzier on the outside than on the inside.

Maybe you should wear your shirt inside out! 🙂

Hello crisp, cool weather – I love you! I wore my first turtleneck of the season today! It was purple of course, but it didn’t bring the Ravens any luck.

I’m perfectly ok with all of that. 😉

… just so I could rub my face in it whenever I want. HA!

Maybe they would have sold you just a sleeve for $10.
