I was walking through the high school building yesterday and noticed a sign on a door. There was something strange about it.
Why is the “L” drawn out like that? Is it a mistake, and the sign was in the “discount” bin, so we saved some money? Is it made by a former student and we wanted to give him business as he started out in the sign-making industry?
Or is something more interesting going on here? Is this some kind of covert mark? Does this closet contain a secret door, or does the sign point the way to one? I couldn’t investigate because there were people everywhere. But maybe some weekend I’ll have to explore a little. Just what secrets to the walls of the school hold?
It’s pointing at the ‘C’, so maybe you need to go to the sea to figure it out! OR, maybe you need to go talk to Elsie! Is there an Elsie at your school?

Hobo sign
Wow Lloyd … you just kept me from getting my work done! Those hobo signs are so interesting. The fake illness sign reminded me of Brad (he, he!)
This post today reminded me of a visit to the streets of Pompeii, where – if one were to look at the stones in the street near former intersections, one would occasionally find, uh, something else “pointing” the way toward, uh, special places of employment for “ladies”. Hopefully, the “L_” in our school’s building has nothing to do with that.
My thought was to unscramble the word with the crazy ‘L’ to see if it would reveal more about that closet: Rectal Lice Closet (RUN!)
Or maybe unscramble the whole thing: La Cocci Ell Street (if that’s in Bora Bora, I’m going with you to further investigate)
