Gone Away

My parents left last night. They are flying overnight. I suppose by the time anyone reads this, they will already be back in Nebraska. No, that’s not true – they arrive in Omaha at 1:47pm. Maybe I’ll still be asleep.

Anyway, our last day was a day of relaxing and hanging out. They slept in so they could be ready for an overnight flight. I went to school and did a little bit of work. Around mid-morning, I came home again and we just sat together. It was nice. My mom did my laundry. It was awesome. 🙂

After lunch at Denny’s, we shopped a little, then hung out some more. Then we went to soup supper at church, and off to the airport. It was a laid back day of together time. I loved it.

You can't see them, but they're somewhere on the left side of this picture.

That sounds just perfect – some nice family time. What a wonderful trip! Praying for a safe flight home for your parents.

I hope that you get some sleep, because you probably have big plans to keep doing school work during these last days of break. I vote for another day of relaxing, though!!

Ahhh…..what a wonderful day!! And what a beautiful airport! Btw: Will we have our air traffic correspondent with us today?

Also praying for a smooth flight. They’ll be landing 2:47pm our time. Boy, all these time differences are getting confusing.

Also, this was on MSN today: Residents of Hawaii are the happiest and healthiest in the nation, according to an annual national survey.

Oh & I forgot to say that it must be a mother’s instinct to do laundry for sons. When I go to Alabama, I always do Matt’s laundry.
