Untucked

I continue to sleep on my airbed, and I continue to be quite comfortable. But there is one snag: my fitted sheet won’t stay on. There’s a small indentation for the fitted sheet to grab on to, but it doesn’t seem to be enough… the sheet slips off, and I have to try to get it back on again.

In order to get the sheet on, I have to deflate the bed, stuff the corner of the mattress into the sheet, and re-inflate the bed. It doesn’t take long, but it sure is a bother. Last night, I didn’t take the time to tuck the corner back in. To be honest, it didn’t really bother me. I think I may just leave it untucked from now on…

All I have to do is just sleep a little left of middle.

I know that situation well. Just make sure the sheet corner that comes off is down by your feet and you will sleep very peacfully! Today we remember the death of our Savior, can’t wait to shout on Easter – “He is risen!!”

You are just Mr. Roll With It since you’ve moved there, huh? I wonder if that’s why Hawaiians are so easy going – “Our sheets won’t stay on, but we’re ok with it. Mahalo.”

I like your acceptance of being unhinged untucked. The mattress looks velvety. Maybe you could stick a piece of velcro on the sheet & it will stick to the mattress.

Or maybe a deep fitted sheet? They make them for those princess-and-the-pea mattresses.
