Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Great Start

It was a great first day in Nebraska. I slept later than usual. It felt like I was having allergies or something… my eyes were puffy and my head was cloudy. Note to self: Lloyd may be trying to poison me.

I walked to my parents house and chatted with my mom until it was time to go to the pool. Woo hoo! I went with my mom, my nieces Anna and Tara, and my nephew Tim. It was really fun. The pool wasn’t very crowded. We got some good swimming in. Oddly enough, I had to get out because I got cold. I wonder if they’re chilling the water there…

I went down the water slide. It was fun! I must do it some more.

I ended the day with a family dinner at my parents’ house. We got into story-telling mode and heard all kinds of car breakdown stories and detasseling stories. It was fun to laugh so hard. My parents have chocolate covered cherries. I ate two of them. I will be back for the rest of the box…

Are you allergic to my adorable vandals? 🙂

  2. Lloyd

One nice thing about telling Brad stories is that you can tell him the same story over and over again.

…and this if before the dementia or Alzheimer’s set in… 😉

You are spot on Lloyd! Brad’s memory isn’t the best.
That’s why he needs “Brad from the past” to remind him of things:)

Note to self … if I ever get to Nebraska I am going to that pool!

Hehe… I think it’s funny when people say: “Have I told you this before?”

    1. Pray tell, what’s with the two wide fences across the pool? Do they block off some sort of lap swimming lane; it seems short, if that’s what it is. Don’t think I’ve ever seen this in a pool before. Hmmm…
    2. This is the second time that I know of you’ve had to exit a pool prematurely because of chilliness – maybe you need to swim in a wet suit from now on?
    3. Lloyd, please don’t be poisoning our friend. Thank you.

    • Brad

To the right of those fences is the kiddie pool. The space between the fences is actually a ramp that gradually descends into the main part of the pool.

Excellent!! And that pool looks AWESOME!

Enjoy your time & keep laughing!
