Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Five Formers

Yesterday was the first day of school in Baltimore. It was Rosie’s first day to not go back, so I was going to meet her and Debbie for brunch. As I approached the front door, I saw two more people. Kim and Michele were there too! Awesome! There were a few people missing from the old gang, but we had a good time anyway.

We met at the Corner Cafe, which is quickly becoming a favorite meeting place. They offer breakfast foods and sandwich-type stuff. I chose breakfast. French toast. Mmm…

Our conversation was loud and crazy. It was awesome to be in such company. I thank God every time I think of these people (and the others) who were a part of something so special in my life. At one point, Debbie said “With what other people in the whole world could you have a time like this?”

No one, Debbie. No one.

I didnt get the memo about wearing blue or grey.

This Christian fellowship created a wonderful ministry together. I foolishly thought everyone had such a creative, supportive and loving bond with their co-workers, now I know that what we share is precious and unique.

Bradaptation needs a “like” button – today, for Kim’s reply above. I thought I would cry when someone in the group asked where I was, too.

    “With you in spirit!”

Blessings on your year as well, dear friends…

Well, if that’s not just the best post ever, I don’t know what is. 🙂 How wonderful that you all share such friendship and connection still! Rock on!

How great to still be able to gather to celebrate your friendships with the people you enjoy the most….in the whole world!

Looking good Rosie! You made the right decision. Peace & love to you all always!

Counting down the days until the rest of you can join us!

    Sage green, not grey!
It was a wonderful brunch. We did it in less than 3 hours which is pretty darn good for a group like us.
You didn’t mention the two tables of older ladies playing some serious tile game … we need to become “regulars” like them and meet every Monday morning at The Corner Bakery!
