I went to have lunch with Michele yesterday, and she brought her daughter-in-law Leslie and her granddaughter Lila. It was really nice to catch up with Michele. It was also fun to meet Lila. She is three months old already. I can’t believe it!
It’s been a while since I held a baby, so when Leslie asked me if I wanted to hold Lila, I hesitated a little, but I’m glad I said yes. She was kind of groggy, which gave me time to sniff her head. Baby smell 🙂
After she woke up a little, I helped her stand on the table:

Well, that is just adorable! Cute baby, Michele! I assume her mother is cute, as well! (Shame that she’s a table dancer at such a young age, though.)
Thanks Lauren. She is beautiful and so is her mommy. My son isn’t too bad looking either! Whenever we want a picture of her in action, she always turns out blurry. Brad did a good job holding her and entertaining her.
He had just finished telling us about the disturbing smell of the anteater he met the other day so he was glad to smell Lila!
Well, I’d be jealous if i’ ’tweren’t agin ma’ religion. I’ve yet to meet Lila up close and personal, though I feel as if I “know” her through Facebook. Seems she is already practicing some Irish step dancing there…? Glad you two got together at last – with bonus special guests to boot!
