Watching Fish Watching

Gus has found the fish tank. I love watching him watch the fish.

So Shiny!

So Shiny!

But he can only get up close and personal with the fish if I am sitting on the couch with the footrest extended.

That’s probably for the best. If he could get that close whenever I’m not around, he might get a little too curious and cause some damage.

Ha! I had a vision of him jumping on top of the tank and swimming with the fishies. That top’s pretty sturdy, right?

The top is made of glass. It works well as a cover, but wouldn’t exactly call it sturdy. Gus continues to be very clumsy. He can jump up on the couch and up on my bed, but I don’t think I ever have to worry about him being able to jump as high as the aquarium.

“Kitty TV” is awesome – when I first moved back to Baltimore, I had two gerbils in tow. They were great amusement for the cats. Fortunately, there was a perforated metal lid on their aquarium…..

Boy……IS GUS EVER TALL!!!!! It hailed here during the night….Nice timing, my new roof went on yesterday from the hail we had earlier….Hopefully this did no damage….short time and small hail…. <3 Aunt Bev P.S. I'm up already to take Brian to work….Car Trouble has run in the family lately….Nothing major, just inconvenient!

Ugh. Car trouble is the worst. I am having an issue with my truck, and just hoping it makes it to Friday without having some sort of breakdown on the interstate. I’m off on Friday and I have an appointment to leave it at the shop. The internet tells me it’s probably a bad CV joint.

You win the Whose Car Trouble is Worse This Week Award. I only had the tire sensor come on first thing in the a.m. on the first day of classes. (Satan knows what will unglue me.) But I was good – did not panic – went to Mr. Tire after school to learn the right rear was “a little low” and no problems since. Constant velocity joint, eh? As I recall, those run a bit more than, say, $5.95. Praying whatever is wrong is inexpensive to repair and the part(s) in stock.

Ha! That 1st picture of Gus is crazy! Are you sure that’s not 2 cats in 1 cat costume?

He also reminds me of Stretch Armstrong….he’s even the same color! Happy fish watching Stretch Gus!
