Air Freshener

I am thoroughly enjoying the fact that I can drink coffee in the morning. Since I wasn’t at a desk during my animal hospital job, I could only have coffee before I came to work. Now I can enjoy it in the morning quiet. It’s almost like I’m living in a commercial or something.

I make five or six cups (as marked on the carafe). My coffee mug holds four cups, which leaves some extra coffee. Sometimes I get to that last bit of coffee, but most days I don’t. If it sits too long, it takes on a burnt flavor, which isn’t very pleasant. But on the plus side of things, that extra cup or two of coffee continues evaporating into the air and making the room smell delicious. I love the fragrance. It’s worth the loss.

It gets really dark when it sits all day.

Ha! ‘Like I’m in a commercial’ – that’s hilarious! I like that you make a whole big pot. None of that one-cup-at-a-time nonsense!

The people at my workplace have very strong opinions about their coffee. One woman one drink it because it’s too strong, one won’t because it’s not strong enough. I have tried to cut back to two cups a day (at work), so we also have an air freshener thing going on.

“The best part of drinking – not – is leftovercoffee in your pot!”

OK, I know – don’t quit the day job. I do miss your hazelnut air freshener, sir. Keurig’s just don’t have that little standing aroma perk.

(Do you see what I did there?)
