There is a streak of grass on the school playground that is darker than the rest of the grass. It catches my eye every time I supervise recess. It has a curve to it, so when I first saw it, I thought it was a fairy ring. As I looked closer, I saw that it was just sort of an arc. Are fairy rings sometimes not circles?
See it? It runs kind of horizontally.
Huh. Does water run along that part? It is slightly concave? If it’s not that, it’s a gopher. Yep. Definitely a gopher.
