Yesterday in my classroom I discovered a visual illustration of why gum isn’t allowed at school:
The dollar is for scale.
Someone not only chewed gum in my classroom, they dropped it on the carpet. Auugh!
I took a picture of it so I could show it to all my classes. Unfortunately, I only remembered to show one class. I’ll have to catch the others later.
That is maddening. I think icing* it is supposed to get it cold enough so you can scrape it off with a spoon. (I have lots of experience scraping dry play dough out of carpet with a spoon. Grrrrrrrr….)
With ice, not frosting. That would be a different kind 0f mess.
