Gus had his annual checkup at the vet’s office yesterday. He was due for two shots.
He was very vocal on the car ride there. I was worried he was getting carsick or something. He didn’t throw up, so I guess he was okay.
His appointment went well. He was very docile the whole time there. He purred and held still and slow blinked at everyone, even when he got his shots. He was definitely a charmer.
It was fun to see many of my former co-workers. I love teaching, and I’m glad to be working where I am, but I do miss the people I used to work with. They were a fun bunch.
When I got home, Gus threw up once. I’m not sure if it was the excitement, or the car, or if it was a reaction to the vaccines. After throwing up, he slept for a while. When he woke up, he was back to his old self again.
All tuckered out.
Oh my stars, that picture is adorable! Poor little guy, all worked up and then barfy. I guess he’s traveled a fair amount though, what with vet visits and being a t.v. star.
