Dinner with Missy

I thought I would go on a field trip to Washington DC or something yesterday, but I didn’t. I did get a little organizing and straightening done around the house. Nothing really noticeable, and nothing that made very spectacular “before and after” pictures.

Fortunately, I had a dinner party last night. It was at the home of some people from my former church. It was great to see them and to catch up. Plus, the food was delicious!

They have a Tonkinese cat named Missy. She was so friendly. She had a tiny face and tiny ears. since I spend so much time looking at Gus, regular cats look strange to me. But even though Missy was a furred freak, she was so sweet! And she was very vocal. She had a gravelly yowl. It was awesome.

I had trouble getting her to look at me because she was really comfortable on her owner's lap.

Um…excuse me…sir? My name is Riley T Cat. My nephew, Binx T.Cat, and I are both, as you put it, “furred freaks”…rather handsome ones at that, we have both been told, and we resemble your remarks about Miss Missy (HA! See what I did there?) She does appear quite interesting, and I’m sure that gravely voice was telling quite a story to everyone – like “What do you mean, ‘furred freak’?!” We trust you will reconsider your choice of text on your next post, for the sake of all us non-hairless models on the planet, who – in case you’ve not yet noticed – are by far in the majority out here. Thanking you in advance, I remain…Riley T. Cat.

She is beautiful. Instead of a ‘smokey eye’ she has a ‘smokey face’ – very alluring indeed!

Awww…that cat is adorable! Glad you got out yesterday.

    Do I know that owner?
