Palm Sunday services were nice. Lots of good music. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling well. There is a sickness making its way through school and I think I got it. I had a headache, runny nose, and a general feeling of tiredness. I had planned to work at school most of the day, but instead I went home and went to bed. I didn’t even use the couch – I actually went to bed. I think the rest was good for me. Hopefully today won’t be so bad now. And hopefully the fact that I didn’t do school work yesterday won’t make my week unbearable.
Sounds like you made a right and necessary choice (why does this sound liturgical to me? Anyway…) Yea, little guys are really walking petri dishes – go heavy on the Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer for a while (no, wait, your school doesn’t supply those, does it? 🙁 ) and try to get yourself better for Easter, at least. Three day work week? You can do this!
We’re in school up to and including Good Friday. At least Friday is a half day though, so I have that going for me, which is nice.
Bleh. I am so sorry. You did the right thing by staying home and sleeping, though. It doesn’t do you any good to ‘power through’ if you don’t absolutely have to. Way to fight those germs!
