I have been very excited to be back to a weekend-off schedule this year. When I worked at the animal hospital, my participation in the three-part Holy Week service was interrupted. I couldn’t do Good Friday. This year, I’m having the full experience: Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to join my old church for their sunrise service in the cemetery. Fortunately, I’ll be participating in a ton of Easter music at my new church.
I got an Easter tie of course. I was looking for a blue one, but when I saw the one I ended up buying, I couldn’t resist. It’s pink. I already have a lot of pink ties, but this one reminded me so much of Easter eggs I had to get it. As usual, my pictures don’t show the color properly. The tie is shimmery, and I think that confuses the camera. I have two different pictures in different lighting. Maybe posting both of them will help show the color.

Much to rejoice over today: a resurrection, a new tie, great music…did I mention the resurrection part yet? 😉
I see you changed suits between pictures, too – I mean, the top one is obviously blue and the bottom one grey … right? (Shades of that ugly dress nobody could decide was blue or gold!)
…and I must add: stare at either tie too long (despite the loveliness of it, mind you!) and a person could think she was back in the ’70’s on a bad trip – psychedelic, man. Peace out.
