Easter Sunday

I had a great Easter Sunday. I played handbells and sang in choir for both services. The music was happy and loud. In between services, the Sunday school kids did and Easter program. It was very charming.

This was a musical break in the dramatic interpretations of the Easter story.

After church, I went to my co-worker’s house for dinner. He’s the church choir director and also does the school music. His daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids were also there. The boys are in kindergarten and third grade. I have them both in Computer class. They were excited to see me. It was cute 🙂

After the meal, we played outside for a long time. The boys hit a wiffle ball that their dad pitched to them. I was the permanent outfielder. It was great to be in the sunshine and cool air. It was a perfect way to spend Easter Sunday.

It really was a gorgeous day.

Well, that sounds absolutely delightful! “Happy and Loud” – that should be the motto for Easter services. 🙂

Those kids will always remember when Mr. Royuk came for Easter. Your fame will rival the Easter Bunny’s.

Lauren took all the good retorts – I got nuttin’. ‘Cept yea, good for you, and enjoy the week off the normal routine. Bet you’ll be gardening on any non-rainy days, eh? (Loving our daffodils up in the front garden; think of you whenever I see them…)
