Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Camp, Day Two

I was up pretty late on Tuesday, so getting up yesterday was kind of hard. After an amazing breakfast, we went straight to the archery range. It was cool.

I don’t think I’ve shot a bow before, so I took a turn. I actually hit a bullseye!  It was my seventh try.

After archery, we went to a pond to take some samples of water and look for living things. The camp counselors found the best stuff.

We were going to hike yesterday, but it rained. The counselors had some inside activities ready. I took pictures with my camera, but not with my phone, so I can’t post any.

We ended the evening with a movie and ice cream. The kids voted to watch “Elf”. Ha!  It was fun to watch a Christmas movie in summer.

Dang it. I wish I could go to your camp – it sounds like a ton of fun! Archery is all the rage nowadays – what with Hunger Games and Avengers – but I’m a Sagittarius, so I’m certain I’m an expert archer, despite never practicing. 😉

Are you wearing a tophat? Is that one word or two words?

    • Carol

It took me a while to not read the last word like “toe fat”…but now I got it.

      So, are you, Brad?

I did not wear a top hat (it’s two words). I wore my gardening hat, which I suppose looks kind of like a cowboy hat.
