Last Seat

Yesterday was my last weekday off for a while. I celebrated by going to a movie in the middle of the day. I saw the new “Fantastic Four”. All the reviews for this movie are bad. I thought it was entertaining I guess. It wasn’t great. I wouldn’t see it again. I understand why there are bad reviews, but it certainly isn’t the worst movie I’ve ever seen. It was just kind of disappointing and plain.

As I walked up the steps to my seat, I noticed the back row had only one seat – one seat back up against the wall. I guess if you were going to a movie alone it might be a choice. Or if you wanted to be sure that no one could assassinate you from the back it would be good, since it’s right up against the wall.

I did not sit in the seat. The last row is too far back for me. I prefer to be a little farther back than halfway.

It was hard to get a picture in the dim light.

Cinemark? [Now that I’ve sat in those luxurious theater seats, I look for them everywhere.]

I feel your pre-school sadness. Learned Friday my room is moving – well, the walls are staying; I am relocating actually (duh). So guess what (Thurman and) I will be doing today [before meetings start next week and there’s little time to even think about such things]. Yippee. Just what I waited all summer for…. 🙁

Maybe that’s the seat where a parent can bring their toddler and let them walk/crawl around for two hours? Or a place for your date to curl up and take a nap? Nah, Carol’s right – those fancy seats are nap-worthy.

That’s so you can’t sit in the back row and make-out.
