Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Shelfie

I stayed after church to work in my classroom a little. When I got home, I was still in work mode, so I put my piano music in the new shelves. Gus of course could not help but be in the room where all the action was. The glass on the bottom shelf is broken, so Gus decided to make that shelf his observation deck.

A curious curio.

Today is our first day of meetings at school. I am as excited to get back to school, but I’m not quite ready yet, so I’m feeling anxious as well. It’s a great mixture of feelings though. It really gets my blood pumping. Woo hoo! New school year!

Y’know – put a basket in there with a fleece blanket and that little guy practically has a house! (Little Lauren From The Past is envisioning that as a perfect dollhouse for cats. 🙂 )

Have a great, productive day of meetings! Drink lots of coffee!! 😀

Blessings on Week One on the West Side, sir! May your meetings be practical, and the team be open to the phrase “there may be another way to do that”.

[We have been gifted with a “work in your rooms” day, followed by an “afternoon on your own” time tomorrow before the heavy lifting begins. Thank you, Jesus, because so many people have stuff to rearrange after water damage to the other building and/or room reassignments.]

Hey….. is your title a reference to Elfie? I just found out about her…..

I was thinking “selfie”, like it’s a picture of Gus, but he’s on a shelf, so I spelled it “shelfie”.

Who is Elfie? Awww… I just googled her… so cute.
