The frying pan from my set of pans was trashed a while back. I’ve been using another pan ever since, but about a month ago, I got a ceramic pan as sort of an impulse buy. It works really well.
I recently decided to get another ceramic pan. I ended up finding a two-pan set. I think I’ll be very happy with these. So far I’ve made eggs and grilled cheese. At different times. Eggs and grilled cheese at the same time would be weird. I think. I’ve never tried it.

Last night I decided to throw away the old small frying pan from my set. It still worked, but it had slowly become dirtier and scratchier. I don’t have the storage space to keep it. Goodbye, small pan. You served me well.
Those ceramic pans are amazing! I think you made the right call by switching them out. I bought a cheap one and use it all the time.
Please, please, please make scrambled eggs and grilled cheese in the same pan. It could be the turducken of the breakfast world!
Ceramic all the way!!! Clean-up is soooo much easier.
I use a “Good Old” (at least 50 years) Black Cast Iron Frying Pan…..They don’t make pans like they used to. It make the BEST Fried Eggs!!! 🙂
