I did the message in church yesterday. HERE it is for the archive.
I thought I almost wasn’t going to be able to read it for church though. My wireless printer stopped receiving a signal. Then when the printer was connected again, my computer couldn’t seem to connect to it.
By this time I was late to leave, and almost going to be late for the start of church, so I grabbed my iPad to see if I could read the message there. I could, but I only had 5% of a battery charge left. Sheesh!
I used my car charger on the way to church and got up to 12%. It was enough. I think I still like reading off of paper though, so I need to get my computer and printer talking with one another before next month.
Thanks for your approach to those words about how to treat Gentiles and tax-collectors. I honestly had not thought of that explanation myself before, so it did put things in a different light for me. Since we are currently visiting some parables in grade 8 (including the one about the tax collector and the Pharisee), I might find a way to weave all that together. Merci, senor!
That was a good message. You always amaze me with your deep knowledge of the Bible. It’s like a mini history lesson!
I’m very glad your battery had enough charge, too. Otherwise, how are you at improv?
