Yesterday I started the day early with the Boot Camp exercise group. I met the leader Rachel. She was nice.
I hung out at Lloyd and Lauren’s for a while, watching “30 Rock” and going in and out of sleep. I love being awake early in the morning. I’m hoping to start doing that schedule while I’m here. I don’t need to get up at 5:15am like I did yesterday, but maybe 6:30 or 7:00.
In the afternoon, I went to Harold and Beth’s to help with some trim painting. While their carpet is up, they’re touching up the paint in those rooms.
In the evening, my family got together for some group portraits. My mom wanted to do something other than the standard group shot where the mom and dad sit on chairs in the middle and everyone surrounds them. The woman taking our pictures did some unusual things. It involved a lot of laughing.
After pictures, we all went out to eat at Chili’s. It was delicious and talky and fun.
Gus’ diary, Day 10:
Well, it doesn’t look as if I missed much with the humans today – though why they wouldn’t want yours truly at the center of any photo shoot is beyond me. Will continue my Olympic-trial-style napping then. Here we go….zzzzzzzzzzz…..
Gus could have been in the photos! Opportunity lost.
I can’t wait to see pictures! I’m laughing at your short door comment. 😀
At first I thought the photographer came to Beth and Harold’s house, because the walls in the two places looked like they were the same color. I hope you post the photos someday – I am quite curious about the “unusual things” which perpetuated lots of “laughing.”
