I am on the road back to Baltimore.
Yesterday was a really nice last day. I relaxed a little in the morning, ran a few errands, and ended the day with a gathering of family. It was great to chat and relax and enjoy their company. I loved hearing everyone laugh as we talked. I have a great family.
I was in the chair next to my dad.
Packing my truck was a little trickier this time. I have some things in the bed, and though the weather forecast doesn’t call for rain, I wanted to wrap everything in plastic. Packing the cab was hard too, because Brent is driving with me.
Woo hoo! Brent is driving with me! I have another driver! We’re going to do the trip all in one shot. We’ll take turns sleeping. Fortunately, we’re both excellent sleepers.
Just don’t be excellent sleepers at the same time, ok?
We will miss you very much around here. It’s the official end of summer, dang it. I pray that you and Brent have a safe, uneventful trip back east. If you do have an eventful time, at least it will make a great story, right? 🙂
