New Old Shoes

I have worn the same teacher shoes for many years now. They are warehouse shoes from Dr. Martens. They are very comfortable. They also have a round toe, which I like. And, in case I should ever need it, are non-slip, corrosion-resistant, and steel-toed.

My current pair of shoes has been getting kind of rough-looking. The toe part has some nicks and gouges in it, and opening of the shoe is looking really beat up. I decided to order some new ones.

Of course, I was stupid and didn’t wait until Cyber Monday. I just went ahead and ordered them a week ago.

But on the plus side of things, I have new shoes! Woo hoo!

The same, but new.

The same, but new.

New shoes are worth paying full price. They look very swanky! Are they really called ‘warehouse shoes’?

No, they are called ‘Resistor’. They are on the ‘industrial shoes’ section of the website.

Good shoes are worth it for every teacher. You spend almost your entire day on your feet.

I notice mens shoes so good for you to be aware! Nice new pair!! You can wear your old ones to work in the yard…..or go see the chickens!!
