I spent another day sick at home yesterday. My energy levels were so just low at school, I wasn’t doing well, and I think instead of getting better, I was getting worse. Five of us teachers have been affected by this illness now, and many students. It seems to be an awful strain of the flu.
I spent the day resting on the couch. Since it was Groundhog Day, I did get to watch a movie I really enjoy:
I love “Groundhog Day”! I know so many lines from it.
I slept for a good long while, then watched some more TV. I’m feeling better this morning. Still, I’m apprehensive about getting back to it. It’s not the teaching load that worries me, it’s the growing pile of paperwork I have to address. That’s hard enough when I’m feeling good…
Well, it’s Groundhog Day. . . again.
I’m glad you were able to watch the movie. I just recited a few quotes in honor of it.
Can’t you just burn the papers and call it a fever incident? I’d say go with that.
Those dang germs. I’m sorry for you and for your school. 🙁
Ned?!? NED RYERSON?!?
Russell has been out of work for a week with the flu. It’s awful! I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with this!
