I found myself needing a bag in my truck a while back, but not having one. I could have just stuffed a grocery bag in the glove box or something, but as I was going through the grocery store checkout line around Halloween, they were selling treat bags that were made of that reusable bag material. The “ghost” version was just a white bag with a smiley face on it. I got one on impulse. I put the bag in the compartment by the driver’s seat and forgot about it.
Recently, I had to look for my insurance info card, and I disturbed the contents of the compartment and the bag turned face up. Now, every time I open it to get my phone earbuds, I get an encouraging smile:
