I watched the first half of the Super Bowl yesterday. Actually, I didn’t really watch it. I fast-forwarded through it and watched the commercials. I liked a Skittles commercial, but nothing else really did much for me. It seemed like there were a lot of commercials trying to be touchy-feely. Where was the funny? Did I miss some stuff after halftime?

I’m tellin’ ya’ – the Hallmark Channel Kitty Bowl IV was where it was….at…that day: the horrible cat puns from the sports casters…the adorable furballs scampering everywhere…Who would want to watch that other game where men wearing 40+ pounds of hardware run headlong into one another trying to get disabling concussions that ruin careers? (“Don’t hold back, Carol; tell us how you REALLY feel!”) Even if the commercials had been funny!
