Sixty

We’re celebrating Lutheran Schools Week at my school this week, complete with crazy dress days. Today is pajama day, which is my least favorite dress day. Tomorrow is Holiday Day, where we will dress for our favorite holiday.

Yesterday in church, we kicked everything off with a special celebration. This year is especially special, because it is the 60th anniversary of the school. The PTL put together some food and activities.

It looked like a lot more balloons when I took the picture. There were many more in the room.

The cake was surprisingly dense (in a good way).

Congratulations! I hope you have a great week, even if you have to have pajama day.

We celebrated back in January. Do all schools get to pick their week? I know of other schools doing this at different times, too.

Good Grief!!! I was already 10 years old when your school started!!! 🙂
