Taking My Leave

We went to church yesterday at a big beautiful Lutheran church in Harrisonburg. They were dedicating quilts, so they were draped over all the pews and seats. It was cool.

After church, we had a delicious brunch at a downtown Harrisonburg restaurant, then headed back to the condo. The condo parking lot had deer standing right next to it. They posed for a picture:

The picture is tinted blue because I didn't roll down the car window.

The condo was awesome. I loved the trees surrounding it. We were truly staying in a forest on a mountain.

I love the Appalachians

In the afternoon, I headed back for Baltimore. I normally say that I don’t like long drives, but yesterday was pretty peaceful.

It was overcast, but pleasant.

I’m pretty good. My sleep schedule is a little off this week, but it’s getting back to normal. The weekend was definitely good for me. I should do little trips more often.
