I used to be so bad at getting bill payments in the mail. I would end up having late fees, then being mad at myself. I have since set most of my bills to be paid automatically. But I think it’s made me even more slow when I have something I have to actually write a check for.
I have been carrying a bundle of papers and my checkbook back and forth from home to school for about three weeks now. All I have to do is write a stupid check and put it in a stupid envelope, but it somehow seems to be an insurmountable task. Meanwhile, my insurance deductible credit card is in danger of being locked again.
I should just do it right now. Except I have school stuff to get ready before class starts. Maybe later-

Yep, I hear you. The number of checks I write is pretty small now, and it’s the same problem. Things get payed LATE.
